TDA5140A Brushless DC Motor Circuit and Datasheet: TDA5140A Scanner Driver Operational Transconductance Amplifier

The
TDA5140A device is a bipolar integrated circuit which commonly used to
draw 3-phase brushless DC motors in full-wave mode. This Brushless DC motor drive device is sensorless using the back-EMF sensing technique to sense the rotor position. This device used to be apply in applications such as VCR, laser beam printer, fax machine, blower, automotive.

The TDA5140A yet embody an Uncommitted Transconductance Amplifier
(OTA) that can be appled as a control amplifier. The output is adequate
for directly driving an external power transistor. The TDA5140A is
built for systems with low current consumption, there are: use of I2L
logic, adaptive base drive for the output transistors, likelihood of
using a pick-up coil without bias current.
