LM134-LM10 Temperature and Thermometer Sensor Circuit Diagram


This circuit is taken from the National Semiconductor Application Notes. Using the IC LM134 and LM10, a -55 to 150°C sensing range thermometer can be built. For this circuit, the ideal meter is a 0-200uA digital ammeter. This ammeter can show both positive and negative polarity in order to show the temperature below zero degree Celcius. The IC LM134 is used as a sensor for temperature sensing application. This IC basically is a current source which has very accurate and consistent temperature coefficient.
